Yah, I’m alive.
Heh, I didn’t make it in time for a monthly post…and I just didn’t feel like putting down a little rant messange nobody cares about…so I guess this just carried on till June. This would’ve been finished earlier, but I got an infection and I had to wait in the ER for 6 hours. Joy. Then I got a shot in the ass causing me to shake violently. It was a thrill I’ll tell you that.
So I colored this pretty…obvious…err…”omgiwannacolorthatsplashpage!” page from this one manga Karneval. I swear, Gareki looks like the love child of Raven (Pandora Hearts) + Hijikata (Gintama) so hot! I probably would’ve had this finished in May, but I was too busy watching Gintama. Two weeks and I’m already in the 100. That’s pretty slow for me…and I’ll shut up now. Gosh, why can’t I ever write like this on LJ?

Well, I really wanted to color something from Karneval…and I wanted to do do clouds. There was this one other one with Gareki for chapter 9, but I’ve already tried coloring it twice…and it started to frustrate me…so I gave up on that for now. I think I did a pretty good job with this one…and I believe I did a pretty decent job on light sources…it’s not right on, but I think it’ll pass. I think it was pretty fun doing the goggles and the leather (courtesy of http://www.textureking.com). I also like how you can see the clouds through the goggles~ I even tried to make the blood more logical…and this one seemed to make sense. Overall, this coloring was fun to make. And yes, don’t you think I did a pretty good job on the clouds? I did it all by myself with this one tutorial on DA AHAHAHA~ Well I feel proud of this one. I didn’t have to edit the colors at all~
